I've put this off way too long, Its about time I got in to contact with Eric Stephenson. Im quite concerned about the time left to contact him, but I've created the comic to send to him, so it would be a bit silly to switch focus I feel. Iv'e sent the email, so fingers crossed he sees it in time, and the comic is enough of an incentive to get a response. Here is the email I sent with the comic:
Dear Eric Stephenson,
I am a 21-year old university student studying illustration at Leeds College of Art in England. I am so inspired by image comics output, you are without a doubt changing comics for the better, releasing all the most interesting and creative projects to grace the comic store right now! I hope to produce my own comic in the near future, and after meeting Caspar Wijngaard and Dan Waters (limbo comic) at thought bubble, I was amazed to find the pair from England, working on their own comic for my favourite publisher.

Would you be willing to answer some questions about the landscape of comics and publishing? I want to know more about what Image looks for in a proposal, and how you view the general market (what seems to be doing well, what are you excited about etc..), and any insights you may be able to give from making comics. Is there a chance that you could respond to some emailed questions? It would be an honour to hear from you.
Thank you so much for your time,
Regards,
James Moore
