Where do you see yourself now as an illustrator?

My focus is comics and storyboarding, i feel both play off each other and allow me to work on the things that interest me most with illustration, being storytelling.

Do people know you're here?

Thanks to my work experience, I now have a foot in the door with those people spread across multiple disciplines, offering a variety of input.

What methods are you using to tell them?

Working alongside them

Where are you directing them to see your work?

I carry my Japan zine everywhere now and the hot dog book I made for hanbury, which has my contact details and website for them to view.

Are you getting any feedback?

I got a great deal of feedback from the experience. Working on the job itself, you get honest responses, regarding what they need your work to be as opposed to what you've presented. The production designer also had a look at my website, highlighting specific pieces that jumped out at him.

You have had 3 years to develop your talent so far, what do you feel you have achieved?

So much, university has been quite a sobering experience. I feel I was overconfident in my work upon joining the course, and in turn didn't force myself to become any better. Seeing all the incredible talent and array of approaches to image making encouraged me to advance, try new things.

How do you see this, achievement, slog or useful?

Incredibly useful for my practice.

What will your Final PPP Presentation contain and why is it important?

I want to speak of my experiences over the course of what has been a pretty crazy year, and how that has influenced my practice, and future trajectory. If I can vent these ideas and plans aloud to a group, chances are that I'm comfortable with my development and immediate plans.

Why do you need to present yourself? Can you see this presentation having any other uses?

It is incredibly important to be able to present yourself and share ideas, especially if I am to start working on tv production. Even if I am to take work outside of that, or pursue a different career path in the future, these skills still apply.
