- What do you think was the most important thing about this event? The chance to interact with professionals. It is somewhat of a shame there was only a limited time to talk to these professionals between talks, but they were incredibly helpful and willing to talk with as many as possible.
- Do you think you got enough out of this event? Without a doubt, yes.
- What do you think would improve the next event? More thought in to how students could coerce and engage with the professionals. Also not too sure the pub was the best location to meet allumni, some were apparently too informal with female members of the class (I didn't witness this personally though, just what I've been told)
- Did you meet enough people during and after the event? Absolutely, but not to say that this should be the limit for the future, go to town.
- Do you feel any better about talking to professionals and networking? Absolutely, we gt an especially forthcoming group of people to talk to.
- What next and why? I havent reached out to the professionals yet, but my mind is bursting with ideas and directions to take my work thanks to the advice recieved.
- Have you been in contact with anyone since? Again not yet, but I will
- Have your plans for the next few months changed since Hanbury? I need to pay more attention to creative companies and groups, rather than just individuals from here on out. I also need to think about networking strategies and use of social media.
- If there is one thing you can take away from this event, what is it? When approaching a professional, do your research, and use it to get the real golden nuggets of information.
- What single idea can you think of that would sell this event to professionals? Promotional materials with a strong identity and contemporary design
